Angel Fire Resort welcomes groups, families and nature lovers for outdoor adventures including mountain biking, golf, zip-lining and boating.
As a Resort Activities Attendant, essential tasks include:
- Greeting members and customers with a friendly, helpful, positive attitude at all times.
- Carrying golf bags for customers and assisting customers in carrying their golf bags to and from their vehicles.
- Loading golf bags on and off the carts.
- Washing golf clubs
- Organizing member storage area.
- Assigning rental golf carts to customers.
- Inspecting rental golf carts when customers are finished and return to staging area.
- Maintaining the driving range by retrieving balls on the range via hand picking or driving the range picker
- Washing driving range balls in washer and returning clean balls to the area where they are stored
- Inspecting player registration and green fee tickets for validity.
- Picking up trash, sweeps sidewalks, and maintains cleanliness of work area.
- Maintaining golf carts by washing, fueling, and inspecting for maintenance needs.
- In the case that a guest is observed trying to bring their own alcohol onto the course: politely informing the guest of the "no outside alcohol" policy and immediately reporting the situation to a supervisor.
- Following all safety procedures and best practices for driving golf carts including stopping at stop signs and driving at the appropriate speed.
Earn 12 USD per hour working an average of 32 hours per week.
The host company provides housing at 75 USD per week, as well as staff activities.
Job available from June-September
You must meet the following requirements to participate:
-Be between 18 and 28 years old
-Enrolled full time in a classroom based, post-secondary institution outside of the USA
-Must have completed at least one semester
-Must be proficient in English
You will need a passport valid for travel to the USA that expires AT LEAST 6 months after your last day of work, proof of student status, and proof of financial support.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
